Soprano Anna Bateman is noted as much for her stage presence as for her musicality — a performer who brings warmth and grace to every room she sings in. She has sung for audiences of over a thousand at Casa Loma's Symphony in the Garden under Maestro Kerry Stratton, appeared as a guest artist in Soulpepper Theatre's sold-out New York Cabaret Series, and performed with the Cambridge Symphony Orchestra, ChoralWorks Collingwood and the Toronto Choral Society.
She has sung more than twenty operatic roles, including Hannah Glawari in The Merry Widow and Adele in Die Fledermaus, the latter to critical acclaim from Opera Canada. Her concert repertoire includes Handel's Messiah, Fauré's Requiem and Orff's Carmina Burana. She also writes and records her own music, most recently the single Stars Remember.
A founding member of ViVA Trio, Anna has studied and performed across Canada, the United States and Europe. Alongside her performing career, she maintains a select private studio in Toronto.

Anna has sung for audiences of a thousand and more with a full orchestra, and for a handful of guests gathered close in a private room. She is at home in both, and in everything in between — and in each instance, the performance and music are shaped around the story of the evening.
